Don't confuse with

王 (wáng, king) is three evenly-stacked horizontal lines through one vertical. 玉 (yù, jade) adds a small dot near the bottom right — originally showing pieces of jade strung together. 主 (zhǔ, master/owner) instead puts its extra dot on top, like a flame sitting above a lamp stand. Dot at the bottom is jade; dot on top is the master.
