Don't confuse with
Both share the water radical 氵 on the left — the difference is entirely on the right. 汗 (hàn, sweat) pairs water with 干 (dry, used here just for its sound) — water plus "dry" on the right means sweat. 汉 (hàn, Han/Chinese) pairs water with 又 (a crossing hand shape, the same 又 from the 又/叉 pair above).
