Don't confuse with

找 (zhǎo, to look for) clearly shows two separate parts: the hand radical 扌 (three strokes, including a hook) next to 戈 (a weapon). 我 (wǒ, I/me) looks similar at a glance, but it's really one continuous pictograph of a weapon — its left side doesn't break into a separate 扌 the way 找's does.
